Nutrition Shorts: Riley Amos partners with Kenetik, energy drink tie-ups

Mountain bike phenom Riley Amos and Kenetik, the brand behind the world’s first bioidentical ketone drinks, announce a partnership for 2024.

Following a perfect season, poised as one of the most dominant under-23 mountain bikers on the circuit, Amos is Paris-bound as a member of the 2024 US Mountain Bike Team

Amos’ talent and dedication propelled him to win all six UCI U23 World Cup events in an unprecedented sweep. Riding with Kenetik’s patented ketone drink in his arsenal, scientifically proven to improve focus, endurance, and recovery, Amos continues to elevate his performance.

Energy drinks tie up with DEKA

DEKA, the fitness event series, announced a new partnership with PRIME Energy and Alani Nu, providers of energy drinks. 

DEKA by Spartan is the indoor “dekathlon” of fitness, with indoor fitness competitions and motivational training for people at all levels. Based on the Greek word, “deka,” meaning “10,” DEKA offers 10 zones based on 10 functional areas of movement such as lifting, pushing, pulling, jumping, rowing, cycling and more.

Myprotein partners with HYROX

Online sports nutrition brand, Myprotein, has expanded its multi-year partnership with HYROX, as the event series’ official global nutrition partner, with the launch of a Myprotein x HYROX range of products.

Myprotein is aiming to elevate its presence across all international HYROX races. The nutrition brand is introducing six new products, in collaboration with HYROX, to meet the needs of the “hybrid athlete.”

The Myprotein x HYROX product range has been specifically curated to support a hybrid workout schedule (combining strength and endurance), to help maximize training throughout all stages; pre-workout, intra-workout and post-workout.

The six new products, from energy gels to refuel bars, are based on insight from HYROX elite athletes, including Graham Halliday and Jake Dearden, with the aim of meeting training requirements for those competing in HYROX events.

Tailwind introduces limited edition flavor

Tailwind Nutrition has introduced its latest limited-edition flavour – Blueberry Lemonade Endurance Fuel – which has been developed in partnership with online nutrition marketplace The Feed.

Tailwind Nutrition Endurance Fuel is a sports nutrition drink mix with a combination of calories, electrolytes and hydration for athletes. According to Tailwind, this means no need for gels, chews, bars, or salt pills.

The recommended serving size contains 50g of carbohydrates and 620mg of sodium, in addition to calcium, potassium, and magnesium. It mixes clear with water and is designed to be used during training and racing, without upsetting the stomach. The limited-edition Blueberry Lemonade flavour is available in 4-serving stick-packs for US$10.00. It is available now on TailwindNutrition.com and The Feed.

Tailwind also recently introduced Dauwaltermelon Endurance Fuel, a watermelon with lime flavor created with Tailwind sponsored athlete Courtney Dauwalter, which she used to fuel her Triple Crown win last summer. The company adds that this popular flavor has officially earned a permanent spot in Tailwind’s flagship lineup.
